Coordination Meetings: Cultural heritage preservation & investment affairs

To preserve the cultural heritage of Mon people, a work coordination meeting was held at the Aung San Hall of the State Government Office on Wednesday and it was attended by Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein and concerned officials.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the state government has been making efforts to preserve and promote the culture and traditions of each ethnic group in Mon State. And he urged attendees to carry out the activities to increase knowledge among Mon ethnic youths and to promote the traditions, culture and customs of Mon people to the public.

Then, Mon Cultural Group from Chaungzon Township reported their working activities which were discussed by the State Ministers and the Chief Minister coordinated the discussion. On the same day, Mon State Investment Committee meeting 4/2023 was continued at the Aung San Hall of the office.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister said it is needed to build a good business network with investors to attract more investments flow into the state. He urged committee to provide assistance for development of investment sector, to provide smooth process for the investors and to create good conditions for businesses in the future.

After that, official from the Department of Investment and Company Administration reported their working activities which were discussed by the State Ministers and State Chief Minister coordinated the discussion.
