Coordination Meeting :Union Chief Justice meets Region/State Judges

25th Coordination meeting of Union Supreme Court with Region/State High courts was held through video conferencing on Thursday.

The Union Chief Justice U Thar Htay attended the meeting and delivered an opening speech. In his speech, the Union Chief Justice said the main responsible of courts are jurisdiction, righteousness and strength of the judicial pillar.

It is necessary to conduct the main duties including rule of law, peace and stability, judging the cases in line with the law and uplifting the prestige of the courts.

 Moreover, it also needs to conduct the duties successfully based on the 5-point road map and 9 objectives set by the SAC. He added that it is necessary to supervise the staff to become skillful and qualified one.

 He also urged to strive for the success of 1st one-year action of Judicial Strategic Plan (2023-2027). The meeting was also attended by judges of the Union Supreme Court, permanent secretary, Directors-General, Deputy Directors-General and Directors as well as judges of Region/State courts and officials. The meeting will continue on 25th August.
