Coordination Meeting: MoH UM delivered the opening address

The coordination meeting of the Leading Committee for organizing the 24th Conference and Seminar of Myanmar Traditional Medicine Practitioners was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Health in Nay Pyi Taw on December 2.

The Leading Committee Chairman, Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win attended and delivered the opening address. In his opening address, Leading Committee Chairman and Union Minister stated that efforts to preserve Myanmar's Traditional Medicine, a cultural heritage passed down for many generations, as part of the national culture, should be pursued through this conference and seminar.

He called upon the Working Committee and various sub-committees to collaborate energetically and ensure no gaps in their respective roles to successfully hold the 24th Conference and Seminar of Myanmar Traditional Medicine Practitioners at the national level.

Following this, the Working Committee Chair and Director-General of the Traditional Medicine Department, Dr. Su Su Dwe, explained the current organizational status of the Leading Committee and Working Committee to ensure the grand seminar is held successfully and future plans, and detailed information regarding the conference and seminar to be held this year.

Subsequently, responsible persons from each sub-committee discussed and presented matters related to successfully holding the 24th Conference and Seminar of Myanmar Traditional Medicine Practitioners, according to their respective sectors. The Leading Committee Chairman then coordinated the presented discussions, delivered concluding remarks.
