Coordination Meeting: MoE UM held meeting with educational officials

A coordination meeting with heads of departments under the Ministry of Education, university rectors and professors, principals from Education Degree Colleges, and Region and State education officers was held at the meeting hall of Office No. 13, Ministry of Education, Nay Pyi Taw on July 14.

First, the Union Minister delivered the opening remarks, stating that universities and basic education schools have been open for a month and a half. He expressed gratitude to the teachers for the peaceful reopening of schools. He also commended and honored the teachers who wholeheartedly collaborated in the June matriculation re-teaching and answer sheet grading processes.

He emphasized that fourth-year and fifth-year students in various specialized subjects at universities must undertake mandatory projects. He urged professors to supervise these projects to ensure they are conducted correctly. Furthermore, he encouraged instilling patriotism, good manners, and discipline in the students.

Subsequently, Deputy Ministers Dr. Zaw Myint and U Nay Myo Hlaing each delivered speeches. Directors-General from various departments then discussed their ongoing activities. Finally, the Union Minister gave a concluding speech, and the meeting was concluded.
