Coordination meeting: Ministry of Energy held a coordination meeting

A coordination meeting related to the renovation and reconstruction of the Ministry of Energy's office buildings in Nay Pyi Taw, which were affected by the recent strong Mandalay earthquake, as well as the construction of temporary offices, was held at Office No. (6) of the Ministry of Energy in Nay Pyi Taw on April 14.

The meeting was attended by Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin, the Deputy Minister, departmental heads, members of the building inspection committee under the Ministry of Energy, and representatives from the Myanmar Engineering Council.

First, the Union Minister delivered an opening speech, stressing that in order to continue carrying out the ministry's responsibilities without interruption, office buildings and staff housing must be restored and renovated as quickly as possible. He emphasized that the building inspection committee, which consists of experts from the Ministry of Energy, will collaborate with responsible officials from the Myanmar Engineering Council to inspect and assess the office buildings and staff housing.

Following that, the committee members from the Ministry of Energy provided explanations and updates on the current status of the work being carried out. The Union Minister gave necessary guidance and coordinated on the needs that were presented.

After the meeting, the Union Minister and officials inspected the Ministry of Energy buildings in Nay Pyi Taw that were damaged by the earthquake, specifically Office No. (6), Office No. (44), other special buildings, and the construction of temporary offices and took actions to provide necessary support where needed.
