Coordination meeting: MGY Region Farmland Management Comm. held meeting

The work coordination meeting of Magway Region Farm Land Management Committee was held at the Region Government office in the afternoon on 4th of July and attended by the Committee Chairman Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and Committee members.

At the meeting, the region Chief minister said that the State Administration Council set the 9 objectives including “To enhance development rooted in agriculture and livestock-inclusive of all ethnic people to ensure national prosperity and food security of the nation utilizing contemporary production methodologies and to promote all-round growth in other       sectors of the economy” and is implementing for the economic development of the country. In the current situation, not only for the food security but also for the prevention from reducing cultivated lands for the enhancement of living standard of the people by producing agricultural products, the principles have been set and implemented. It will be carried out supervising to comply with the rules included in the Farm Land Law, taking action against those who violated the rules and reporting to the Central Farmland Management Committee.

During the meeting, upon a file of case reported on the compensation for the land and the crops by the departmental organizations and ‌a file of case on the appeal to the Region Farmland Management Committee, the Chairman of Region Farmland Management Committee and members coordinated with the related departments and organizations in line with the existing Farmland Law, By-law, procedures and directives, and the Farmland Management Committee Chairman Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin gave a speech of conclusion.
