Coordination meeting: MGY Region CM gave opening remarks

Chairman of Magway Region Committee for Reviewing Confiscated Farmlands and Other Lands, Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended and delivered the opening remarks at the Committee’s coordination meeting 1/2025 held at the meeting hall of the Region Government office on March 3.

Following this, the Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Committee discussed issues related to the confiscation of farmlands and other lands. The Joint Secretary presented case files regarding the confiscation of farmlands and other lands using a PowerPoint presentation. Members of the Committee engaged in general discussions. After That, the Committee Chairman and Region Chief Minister delivered concluding remarks.

Additionally, it was reported that the Chief Minister and officials attended the Stake Driving ceremony for the new prayer hall of the historic Mya Tha Lun Pagoda in Magway at 6:30 AM on March 2nd. Led by the Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, five senior officials droved the at the designated locations and sprinkled scented water on the stakes as part of the ceremonial proceedings.
