Coordination meeting: Meeting on participation in National Sports Festival held

The coordination meeting between the Steering Committee for Participation in 5th National Sports Festival2024 and Working Committees was held at the Rakhine State Government Office meeting hall on Monday and attended by Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, members of the State Government, State level departmental officials.

During the meeting, Chairman of Steering Committee and Chief Minister U Htein Lin, the, stated that the 5th National Sports Festival will be held in Naypyidaw from December 1st to 20th, Rakhine State has already formed the organizing and working committees to ensure successful participation and achievement in the Sports Festival, the state will participate in 17 sports events and the athletes are currently undergoing training in preparation for the competition. He urged the members of the State Government and departmental heads present to actively engage in discussions and provide suggestions to ensure the success of the Rakhine State teams in the upcoming National Sports Festival.

Next, Secretary of the Steering Committee and head officer of the Department of Sports and Physical Education in Rakhine State, presented the preparations made for participation in the 5th National Sports Festival.

After that, members of the State Government and committee members discussed the implementations carried out by the committees and the sectors to be implemented for the participation in the national sports festival and achieving success.

The Chief Minister provided feedback and delivered a speech of conclusion.
