Coordination Meeting: Meeting on organizing National Sports Festival held

The 4th coordination meeting of Working Committee on Organizing the Opening and Closing Events was held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

In his opening remark at the meeting, the work Committee Chairman Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said that the National Sports Festival is a festival with full essence organized for the national reconciliation, it’s also an event showcasing the ability and strength of the youth and it will be implemented for fostering national spirit, it’s will be arranged for enabling to watch by people across the nation and the abroad, as it’s an important occasion for the State and people, it’s needed the earnest cooperation.

Next, the work Committee Secretary Director General of Information and Public Relations Department clarified the completions of implementation to organize the event successfully and the action plans to be carried out.

Then, the Vice Chairman of the work Committee Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Daw Nu Mra Zan presented regarding with the sample costumes for 6 eras dance.

Next, the Deputy Ministers Maj-Gen Ko Lay, U Ye Tint, Dr. Moe Zaw Tun and Dr. Aung Zayya gave necessary suggestions regarding with the entertainment programs, preparations for the technical sector and the requirements for organizing the festival successfully.

After that, the responsible persons from the Ministry of Education, MRTV, Department of Fine Arts, Myanma Electric Power Enterprise, Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, Myanmar Music Association , Myanmar Theatrical Association, Myanmar Comedian Association gave necessary suggestions and the Union Minister coordinated requirements.
