Coordination meeting: Meeting on organizing 78th Shan State Day held

A coordination meeting for organizing the 78th Shan State Day celebration was held in the Shan State Government Office meeting hall in Taunggyi on December 23rd.

The meeting was chaired by U Aung Aung, the Chief Minister of Shan State, in hi capacity of  the chairman of the organizing committee for the 78th Shan State Day. He emphasized the need for preparations to be made in advance for the celebration, ensuring that the event would be organized in the same manner as previous years. He also encouraged the showcasing of local products, MSME exhibitions, and trade fairs during the celebration. He called for the committees to discuss and present their plans accordingly.

Following that, the various work committees presented their reports and plans.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Chief Minister and Chairman of the organizing committee, approved the proposals presented by the committees. In his closing remarks, he urged that no invited guests be left out when sending out invitations. He also requested that any items for presentation to the regional government be submitted by the committees, and reminded all departments to coordinate and complete the necessary preparations ahead of the event.
