Coordination Meeting : Meeting on election preparations held

In order for holding the phase (2) of Multi-party democracy general election within Taninthayi Region, a work coordination meeting was held on Friday via video conferencing.

During the meeting, Chief Minister U Myat Ko stated that based on the experiences of the phase (1) of the election, collaborative efforts of all concerned officials are needed for convenience of the eligible voters in phase (2). For more convenience of the voters, the Chief Minister instructed for expanding the number of polling stations in phase (2) election process, urging all eligible voters to participate in the election.

And, the clarification on implementing MEVMs and security measures of the polling stations were made by the officials.  The Chief Minister coordinated the needs on current preparations and future plans for successful holding of the phase (2) of the election after hearing the reports by the attendees.
