Coordination Meeting: MCPC Chairman MoC UM addressed the meeting

The Coordination Meeting 2/2025 of Myanmar Consumer Protection Commission was held at Office No. 52 of the Ministry of Commerce in Nay Pyi Taw on June 3rd.

The meeting was attended and addressed by Union Minister for Commerce and Chairman of Myanmar Consumer Protection Commission U Tun Ohn. In his address, the Commission Chairman stated that the commission has been able to resolve consumer losses resulting from mistakes and violations committed by service providers in the sectors with the highest number of current consumer complaints including online financial services, telecommunications, and motor vehicle sales.

He also emphasized the need for effective resolution of the remaining complaints in those sectors. Next, Commission Secretary Director General of the Consumer Affairs Department U Khin Maung Hlaing, presented the implementation status of the decisions made during the previous coordination meeting and matters requiring the commission's decisions.

Following his presentation, the Chairman and commission members discussed the issues and made resolutions accordingly.
