Coordination meeting: Matters for regional development in Nay Pyi Taw discussed

The coordination meeting with departments for the development of administrative, economic, social sectors in Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw was held at the meeting hall (1) of the office of Nay Pyi Taw Council on 7th October and attended by Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, Council members, Nay Pyi Taw Council Development Committee Vice Mayor and Committee members, Nay Pyi Taw level departmental officials and Chairmen of District Administrative Bodies.In Naypyidaw, efforts are being made to systematically carry out agricultural and livestock activities.

This includes aiming to achieve the cultivation targets based on the number of acres, ensuring full production capacity for agricultural crops, and expanding the cultivation of oil-producing crops to meet the region's demand for cooking oil.

Additionally, there is a focus on developing Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSME), restoring farmlands damaged by floods as quickly as possible and providing necessary assistance. Other priorities include ensuring proper water flow in rivers and streams, clearing silt from drainage and irrigation canals, and ensuring that all school-aged children receive education up to KG+9 without exception.

Furthermore, maintaining law and order, ensuring peace and stability, and promoting regional development in Naypyidaw, require everyone to collaborate and work together according to the respective sectors.Next, Nay Pyi Taw Council Secretary U Nyi Nyi Min clarified the works to be done for the regional development.

Then, the departmental officials explained the implementations for regional development in related sectors. And the meeting was concluded with the speech of conclusion by the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman after coordinating requirements upon the clarifications.
