






The work coordination meeting (2/2022-2023) of the Machine Supervisory Committee was held at the Ministry on Wednesday. Chairman of the Machine Supervisory Committee Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than, permanent secretaries of respective ministries and officials attended the meeting.
In his opening speech, the Union Minister said that the meeting aims to scrutinize with the members the cases that were previously approved on the fund transfer and use presented by the departments and to implement effectively 16-objectives of the work committee. In 2022-2023 fiscal year, 32 cases of fund transfer and project value change submitted by departments have been approved in the coordination meeting 1/2022-2023. In this fiscal year, 30 cases of fund transfer and project value change have been approved in advance in order not to delay in the work process.
The Union Minister added that the Machine Supervisory Committee plays an important role in the country's equipment sector. In regard with purchasing and use of equipment with government departments, it must be properly verified and carried out the policy of the Committee to support to the State.
The Union Minister called for the members to scrutinize the fund transfer submitted by the departments in the meeting and to give suggestions to effectively and smoothly carry out the tasks. Later, the committee members and the Director General of the Central Equipment Statistics and Inspection Department of the Minister of Planning and Finance reported on process of the cases submitted by the Union Level Organizations/ Ministries.
