Coordination meeting: Kachin State CM coordinated requirements

The coordination meeting of Kachin State Government, Departments and relevant organizations in the region was held at Malikha Hall of the office of the State government on September 1st for keeping stability of commodity price and opening welfare markets systematically aiming at the convenience of basic needs of the people.

At the meeting, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan stressed the needs to keep balance of production and consumption in the region with the effective ways, regular flow of goods, expansion of local production and take action in line with the law against the matters that lead to the price stability.

The Chair of State work committee State minister for economic affairs U Myo Swe clarified the formation of State level work committee and the status of basic commodity prices and the attendees discussed the factors driving for price hiking, approaches to control, regular flow of commodities and expansion of small-scale agriculture and livestock breeding industries.

The Chief Minister coordinated requirements on the clarifications and discussions.

In the meeting to open the welfare markets in Kachin State, the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions. The secretary of the State government reported the plans to open the market selling the basic commodities at affordable price under the supervising of the State government and the departmental officials and the related organizations discussed the matters to carry out mobile market of fish and meat at the markets by the development committee as per the markets of the wards, designating items of commodities to be sold, prices and places with the collaboration of the organizations on the State.

The Chief Minister coordinated to open welfare markets twice a week as per the districts and townships.
