Coordination meeting: Kachin State CM attended the meeting

A work coordination meeting on effective management of fire hotspots and conducting knowledge sharing for reducing and controlling of haze pollution within Kachin State took place at the Malikha hall of the Kachin State Government Office on April 23rd.

During the meeting, State Chief Minister U Khat Htein Nan heard the reports on situations of Fire Hotspot and haze pollution and future plans to control and reduce the haze pollution triggered by wildfire and crop burning. Upon the reports, the Chief Minister coordinated the requirement.    

At the hall of the Waingmaw Township General Administrative Department, the Chief Minister met with the displaced familiess from the villages in the township due to the terrorist acts and gave words of encouragement. Then, the Chief Minister provided rice, cooking oil, eggs, Tarpaulin sheets and 2 million kyats cash assistance. Similarly, the Chief Minister made survey inspection for construction of Yay Kyi Chaung sluice gate during 2025-2026 fiscal year.
