Coordination Meeting: Discussion for organizing Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan

A coordination meeting for organizing Walking Thingyan in Nay Pyi Taw for 2024 was held at the Ministry of Information on 15th March.

At the meeting, Chairman of the organizing committee on Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn said Walking Thingyan in Nay Pyi Taw aims to be held as a traditional festival that not only the public but also all the staff can participate in the event happily.

The committee will conduct the event as a happy Thingyan with the participation of all ministries and staff. As a special program, K-Pop singers and famous arties from Korea will perform at the Central Pavilion organized by Boss and Jobs Company and Korean Companies. 

Then Vice-Chairman of the committee, Nay Pyi Taw Mayor U Than Tun Oo said it is necessary to conduct the Myanmar Traditional Atar Thingyan in line with Myanmar’s culture and discipline. The meeting discussed the arrangements including water access, entertainments, health care services and regulatory issues.
