Coordination Meeting: Discussion for International Art Centre (Mandalay)

The reception team of the International Art Centre (Mandalay) held a coordination meeting at the Mandalay Region Government Office. Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint in his capacity as the Chairman of the International Art Centre (Mandalay) Reception Committee mentioned that two international art centres have been established in Yangon and Mandalay.

The construction of the Yangon Centre, which is currently underway, received approval from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. Regarding the Mandalay Centre, the Ministry of Information has taken over the project and will oversee its completion.

The design of the building is being evaluated for quality assurance by a team designated by the Ministry of Information. It is essential to verify whether the dimensions and construction materials align accurately with the original design and budget stipulated in the contract.

This ensures that the established quality standards have been met. It is necessary to assess whether the construction aligns with the specified standards, he added. This meeting continued with Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung of the Ministry of Information and committee secretary U Aye Kywe.
