Coordination Meeting: Agricultural loan for monsoon season plantation

Rakhine State Government on Thursday held a coordination meeting on agricultural loan for the monsoon season plantation at the State Government office.

In this meeting, Chief Minister U Htein Lin said the State Administration has been providing support in all ways for development of the agricultural sector and agriculture-based businesses. New loans are issued every year; growers and farmers need to focus on repayment on time; and concerned officials have to make repayment collection.

Only when the repayments are made on time, there will be cash flow and new loans can be made continuously for the next year, the Chief Minister added. This meeting continued with discussions on the agricultural loan for the monsoon season plantation, repayment collection and climate index crop insurance system.
