Coordination meeting 2/2023: Food security and high yield of oil crops in Bago Region

Bago Region Government held the coordination meeting 2/2023 for regional food security and high yield of oil crops.

In this meeting at the regional government office, Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win stressed importance of successful implementation of goals-related instructions given by Chairman of the State Administration Council.

He called on concerned officials to carry out awareness programmes among farmers and growers to ensure correct planting time and correct planting of crops, to provide pure strains and to check and choose the land that can be cultivated for oilseed sunflowers, he added.

And, attendees made discussions on matters including crop production conditions and agricultural production improvement in the Region.
