Cooperatives & Rural Development: Union Minister meets officials from Bago and Ayeyawaddy

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe on Friday held a meeting with officials from departments of cooperatives and cooperative enterprises from Bago and Ayeyawaddy regions.

In the meeting, the Union Minister stressed that The state is paying attention to the continuous development of the socio-economic lives of the rural people, and the ministry is also participating. He also urged attendees to utilize 100 percent of the acreage for cultivation, to increase production and to identify high-quality agricultural land, One year (3) fruit cultivation.

The Union Minister also pledged to provide species and inputs needed for agricultural and breeding activities in time and assistance for access to the market.

This meeting continued with the attendees making discussions on plans to cooperate with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation for cooperative farming and production activities for the success of the country's economic promotion activities and programs to be connected with the state economic promotion fund.
