Cooperative Activities: Meeting for effective implementation of work process

A meeting on the effective implementation of cooperative activities during the second quarter of 2023-2024 Fiscal Year was conducted at the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development on Tuesday with the attendance by Union Minister U Hla Moe.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that the cooperative societies are necessary to pay main focus on agriculture and livestock activities. He gave instructions to operate oil mills at full capacity for domestic oil self-sufficiency, to procure raw material, to penetrate oil market and to have a wide connection between cooperative societies while implementing the One Region One Product and cooperative shops.
He urged to carry out the Emerald Green Project with the National Economic Promotion Fund in accordance with financial regulations and established policies and accelerate the cooperative activities to improve the socio-economic life of the rural people.
And, the relevant officials reported on sector-wise work implementations andthe inter-departmental cooperation respectively.Then, the Union Minister called on exerted efforts for the success of cooperative development and coordinated the needs upon the reports.
