Cooperation with IOM: Union Minister for Labour receives Regional Director

Union Minister for Labour Dr. Pwint San received Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific of International Organization for Migration (IOM) Ms. Sarah Lou YsmaelArriola at his Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

At the meeting, both sides friendly discussed the matters on the negotiations on the signing of a new MoU, points to be included in the MoU and matters on continued cooperation between the Ministry of Labour and the IOM and providing assistance to Myanmar migrant workers. This meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister, Permanent Secretary and Director-General of the Ministry as well as Chief of Mission Mr. Dragan Aleksoski.
