Conveyance Ceremony of Buddha Image: PM attends the religious ceremonies at Maravijaya Buddha Park

A ceremony was held on Wednesday to convey the Buddha Image to the Maravijaya Monastery within the compound of Maravijaya Buddha Park in DekkhinaThiri Township, Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Namosasa three times. This was followed by the congregation, led by the Prime Minister, reciting religious gahtas three times.

At the auspicious moment, the Prime Minister pressed the button to convey the Buddha Image onto the Jewellery Throne. Subsequently, the Prime Minister and his party sprinkled scented water on the Buddha Image and shared the merits gained.

Then, a ceremony to convey Buddha image to Sasana Beikman Agga Dipadi Visoghama Ordination Hall continued. The Prime Minister pressed the button to convey the Buddha Image onto the Jewellery Throne, and sprinkled the scented water on it. The ceremony concluded by reciting Buddha Sasanam Ciram Tithatu.
