Convenient Accommodation: Inspection on ministerial staff housing and dormitories

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, together with Deputy Minister and concerned officials conducted ground inspection on the ministerial staff housing and dormitories in Zabuthiri Township on Saturday.

During the inspection,the Union Minister gave instruction to all staff to follow the housing and dormitory rules and regulations and oversaw the building maintenance, water accessibility, electrification, better drainage system, cleanliness and security of its surrounding area.

After fulfilling the needs upon the reports of the staff’ families, the Union Minister provided cash assistance to them. Subsequently, Union Minister said that the government has allowed the construction of staff housing for the convenience of the staff accommodation.

He instructed all the staff to follow the rules and regulations, not to permit the accommodation of the unrelated person and guests, to temporarily accommodate for family members only after receiving permission in addition to reporting the guest list while paying special attention on security issues.

Deputy Minister U Ye Tint exhorted all staff to maintain cleanliness and beautification in housing and its nearby environment, follow fire safety issues, consume electricity and water with the set instructions and live in unity.
