Contribution of Relief Items: MoI UM and officials provided relief items

Ministry of Industry Natural Disaster Management Committee led by the Union Minister Dr. Charlie Than visited Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw, Pubbathiri Township, Kyan Pho Su Village constituted with 225 households comprise of about 1,000 population who were affected by severe flood due to the continuous heavy rain, met with the residents, gave words of encouragement and inquired the matters on occurrence of severe flood, ruin of cultivated crops, health conditions and completion of cleaning for reopening Village primary school.

Next, the Union Minister led disaster management Committee met with the Village responsible persons, discussed the renovation of Village entrance road, digging drainages at the low-lying area of the Village and restoration of Village monastery’s wall and clarified the providing assistance by the Ministry of Industry.

Then, the Union Minister and Committee members contributed rice, cooking oil, sacks of oral rehydration powder, copy books worth 14.555 million Kyats to the students and Village responsible persons, it’s learnt.
