







The Dhammacakkapavattana Sutta and Anattalakkhana sutta reciting contest of the police force and departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs serving in Kachin Stat was begun in the morning on 8th July and the Wut Associations of State General Administration Department, State Police Force, State Department of Special Investigation, State Correctional Department and State Fire Service Department participated in the contest and the award presenting to the prize winner associations was held in the evening.
Present at the occasion were the second Chief abbot of Dhammarakkhita Wuntho monastery and assistant presiding Sayadaw of Abbot Training School, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nam and wife, Chief justice of State high court, State ministers, State advocate General, secretary of State government and contest organizing committee members.
At the occasion, State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nam said that if those who belong to any religion are devoted to the teachings of the related religion appear to have mental steadiness, peace in mind and being subtle. Besides, for the maturity in thinking and broader-minded, it’s needed to be devout in the religion. The Wut Association of forces and departments are urged to recite the Suttas on the days of religious significance.
Next, the Chief Minister offered the offertories to the Sayadaws and the Chief justice of State high court and State ministers presented cash donation to the Sayadaws and provided cash of honor to the winners and the State head officer of religious affairs clarified the status of prize winning in the contest.
Then, the chairperson of State committee on women’s affairs and maternal and child welfare supervisory body, Chair and Vice Chair of organizing committee awarded prizes of honor and third prize winner.
The certificate of honor and cash of honor awarded by the patron of State committee on women’s affairs and maternal and child welfare supervisory body wife of Chief Minister awarded to second prize winner and by the Chief Minister to the first prize winner.
After clarifying status of eveluation and marking system and the status of competing by the contestant associations by the eveluation and marking work committee member Sayadaw, the ceremony was concluded.
