Container homes set up for earthquake victims

Following a 6.1 magnitude earthquake that shook north western Turkiye killing one person and injuring at least 29 others, authorities rapidly established temporary accommodation centers for earthquake victims.

Nine container homes were installed by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency in Alacaatlı neighborhood. The temporary accommodation center represents part of ongoing efforts to provide immediate shelter and support to those affected by the seismic activity in the region.
