Construction works : Construction of Hsin Thay creek bridge (Kyauk Chat)

Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant together with officials inspected extension of Hsin Thay creek bridge (Kyauk Chat) new 4-lane bridge on Yagon-Mandalay Union Highway for the development of transportation sector in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on 3rd October  and planting trees along the expressway.

The Union Minister and party visited the construction of new 4-lane reinforced concrete bridge in the place of old one-lane iron frame bridge on Yangon-Mandalay Union Highway being constructed by Special Group-6 of the Department of Bridge. There, Engineer (In-charge) reported on completion of the bridge construction and future plans on which the Director-General of the Department of Bridge supplemented the reports.

In response to the reports, the Union Minister gave instructions on prevention from bank erosion for long-term durability, completion of the tasks within the schedule and meeting set standard, systematic use of worksite machiery, work site safety and systematic traffic lane and inspected the work site.

After that, the Union Minister and party looked into the trees planted along the road that is extended from 4-lane to 6-lane road in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on Yangon-Mandalay Union Highway and called fror replanting the trees damaged by cattle and long-term sustainability.
