Construction sector: Myanmar delegation arrived back at Yangon

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant who is currently in St. Petersburg of the Russian Federation held a sideline meeting with the Deputy Minister for Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation on 19th October.  

The two sides exchanged views on the promotion of inter-ministerial cooperation and human resources sector. In the morning on 20th October, the Union Minister and party attended the International Conference on the Development of the Construction Industry along with the Union Minister for Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation and the invited professionals of construction industry from the international community.

Then, the Union Minister and the Minister for Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation had a cordial discussion about the further cooperation and current status of work implementations between the two countries.

In the evening on the same day, the delegation led by the Union Minister attended the closing and awarding ceremony of the ‘Third World Construction Championship’, together with the Minister for Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, professionals of construction industries and concerned officials.

The Union Minister arrived back at Yangon International Airport by air on October 22nd and welcomed back by the Director General of the Department of Bridge and responsible officials.
