Consecration ceremony :1000 members of Sangha consecrated Maha Ceti

The consecration of the Maha Ceti pagoda by 1000 members of Sangha and the offering provisions to the Sangha with a ceremony was held at the precinct of the pagoda with the leading of the Bago Region Government in the morning on 11th April.

First, the consecration ceremony was held at the middle terrace of the pagoda and the invited 1000 members of Sangha consecrated to the pagoda. The ceremony was attended by the Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win and wife, chief justice of the region high court, members of region government, region/district/township departmental officials, battalions and forces and well wishers and offered rice provisions and offertories to the Sangha.

Next, the congregation led by the Chief Minister observed five precepts administered by the presiding Sayadaw of Myoma Sarthintaik  Abhidhajamaharathaguru Baddanta Gandama , took the sermon delivered by the presiding Sayadaw of KyaKhatWaing Sarthintaik Aggamahapandita Baddanta Nyayya Dhammabhiwuntha and shared the merits gained. Then, the 1000 members of Sangha and 100 nuns were offered with day meal.
