Congratulatory Message : Message of Congratulations

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of India sent a congratulatory message to U Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on his assumption of office as President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Modi expressed that  India remains committed to further strengthening of bilateral relations, and the longstanding friendship between the two countries will continue to expand in areas of mutual interest.  

Likewise, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam sent congratulatory message to U Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Similarly, congratulatory messages were sent to Vice Presidents U Nyo Saw and Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand Sihasak Phuangketkeow sent congratulatory messages.
