





A ceremony to confer honorary titles for 2025 was held at the State Administration Council Chairman’s office on Sunday with the attendance of Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister, Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing.
At the ceremony, the Prime Minister delivered a speech, saying that, unity of people is crucial in building peace and developed nation. He added that the State Administration Council has been conferring honorary medals to those who perform outstandingly in nation-building endeavours. These medals have been conferred not only the local recipients but also to the foreign nationals who have demonstrated exceptional contribution to the interest of Myanmar based on the spirit of friendly relations and cooperation.
The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to those who have served the state duties with outstanding performance, sacrifices and acts of bravery. He urged all to continue striving for perpetuation of the state, achieving peace, prosperity and development status, while setting a good example for future generation. This was followed by presenting of the honorary titles to the recipients.
During the ceremony, the honorary medals were presented Sithu Title to 13 recipients, Thura Title to 3 recipients, Zaya Kyaw Htin Title to 17 recipients, Wanna Kyaw Htin Title to 14 recipients, Alinkar Kyaw Swar Title to one recipient, and Theikpa Kyaw Swar Title to two recipients, altogether 50 individuals.
