Conferring honorary title: SAC Chairman conferred Thiri Pyanchi title

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing conferred honorary titles and medals on those who sacrificed for the development of the nation and peace and prosperity with might and main in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independence Day 2023.

On 1st and 2nd January, the conferring ceremonies were successfully held, and the SAC Chairman Prime Minister himself conferred honorary titles on recipients in individuals at the ceremony.

Relevant chief ministers of regions and states and military command commanders presented honorary titles to the recipients at their homes or the persons on behalf of the recipients who could not attend the conferring ceremonies for various reasons.

On 3rd April, the ceremony of presenting the honorary title and insignia was held at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw and attended by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing, council joint secretary, commander in chief (Navy), Commander in Chief (Air), senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander in Chief of defense services, Deputy Minister for Defense of Russian Federation Colonel General Alexander Vasilievich Fomin, Russian Federation Ambassador to Myanmar, military attaché, President of the Institute of Oriental Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences Dr. Professor Vitaly Vyacheslavovich NAUMKIN and officials.

First, the Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Ma-J Gen. Zayya Kyaw Htin Toe Yi read the order of conferring the title. The Senior General himself conferred Thiri Pyanchi title and insignia on Colonel General Alexander Vasilievich Fomin for his excellent performance in the development and peace and prosperity of Myanmar.

Next, the President of the Institute of Oriental Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences clarified the reasons for conferring honorary Doctorate Degree to the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing by the faculty of Institute and conferred the honorary Doctorate Degree to the SAC Chairman Prime Minister.

The SAC Chairman Prime Minister accepted the honorary degree. Then, the Colonel General Alexander Vasilievich Fomin expressed words of thanks for receiving excellent performance title and insignia.

Afterward, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister gave words of honor to the Deputy Minister for Defense of Russian Federation and expressed words of thanks for receiving the honorary Doctorate Degree.

Then, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister, Deputy Minister for Defense of Russian Federation and President of President of the Institute of Oriental Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences exchanged memorable gifts.

After the ceremony, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, Deputy Minister for Defense of Russian Federation and the attendees posed for the documentary photo and cordially greeted.
