Condemnation: Attack at Myawady Trade Zone strongly condemned

A civilian and some members of the security force have been killed due to the attack by KKO separatist group and the terrorist groups who are subordinates of NUG, CRPH at Myawady Trade Zone on 25th March. Moreover, the office building and security X-ray machines were also destroyed.

Myanmar Writers’ Association on Sunday issued a statement, stating that it was the intentional terrorist attack of terrorist groups to damage peace and stability, to hinder the commodity flow and to cause people to panic. So, this attack to the areas unrelated to the military is committing the war crime and it was strongly condemned.

Likewise, the Myanmar Press Council also issued a statement of condemnation on this terrorist attack, saying that it is clearing seen that the terrorist launched the attack to cause crisis for the public. It was completely unacceptable and strongly condemned. The Young Men’s Buddhist Association (YMBA) and the Interfaith Dialogue Group (Central), Myanmar Comedians’ Association and Myanmar Music Association (Central) also issued the statements of condemnation respectively.
