Comprehensive Cardiac Care: 6th Myanmar Cardiology Conference in Yangon

With the theme, “Towards Holistic and Comprehensive Cardiac Care”, the 6th Myanmar Cardiology Conference commenced in Yangon on Saturday.

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win attended the conference and made a speech, stressing the government’s support for health sector with yearly budget increase to purchase medicines and medical equipment, needed for non-communicable diseases and cancers. During the conference, the booths on medical subject and medicines are on display.

The Cardiologists from Myanmar, China, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam, Korea, Britain and the United States are participating in the conference, sharing experience and knowledge. The conference is set to be held for two days from November 23rd to 24th.
