Completion of Training: International Public Sector Accounting Standards (Phase 1)

A closing ceremony for the training course on International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs) Phase 1 was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

Union Auditor-General Professor Dr. Khin Naing Oo attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of IPSASs in the international community for compiling budget reports for state-owned enterprises. The training provided valuable statistical knowledge to be applied in drafting financial reports.

Plans are already in progress for Accrual Basis training courses, and the trainees are encouraged to apply the knowledge gained during the training in their respective work fields. A total of 96 trainees from the Union Auditor-General's Office and other ministries attended the training, which spanned 27 weeks from February 11th to August 26th.
