China's next-generation carrier rocket Long March-8 completed its first mission for the lunar exploration on Wednesday, sending a relay satellite to the lunar transfer orbit. According to the rocket engineers, six launch widows have been spotted in three days, with two in each day, based on the weather and the position of the Earth and Moon.

Following the mission, the Long March-8 carrier rockets will conduct its first commercial space launch mission in the latter half of this year, paving way for it to become a main force for commercial launches in the future.
