Competition Issues: Myanmar Competition Commission holds meeting 4/2023

The Myanmar Competition Commission held the meeting 4/2023 on Thursday afternoon at the Ministry of Commerce in Nay Pyi Taw.

In this meeting, Union Minister U Tun Ohn in his capacity as Chairman of the Commission gave remarks. The meeting discussed the Myanmar Competition Commission website development conditions, cooperation between the Myanmar Competition Commission and the Russian Competition Authority, plans for effective implementation of the competition law, complaints and solving conditions.

The Myanmar Competition Commission was formed in 2018 to act transparently and fairly to ensure the enforcement of the competition law, to formulate a competition policy with a view to creating a favorable business environment and to raise awareness of the benefits of the competition policy.
