Comparative demonstration: MoALI Union Minister observed demonstration of rice transplanter

The Agricultural Mechanization Department is carrying out the research works and innovation works incessantly for the farmers to utilize the agricultural machines and equipment to do cost-effective agricultural works as well as to overcome the problem of agricultural labour shortage and utilize the affordable rice transplanters extensively. Accordingly, the Myanma Farm Machinery Factory (Ingone) under the Agricultural Mechanization Department conducted experimental manufacturing of 6 rows rice transplanter.

The comparative demonstration of the 6 rows rice transplanter manufactured by the Myanma Farm Machinery Factory (Ingone) and the same kind made in Viet Nam was conducted at the field in Yayzin of Agricultural Research Department in the morning on 12th September and the Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung, Deputy Ministers and officials observed the demonstration.

After the demonstration, the Unio Minister pointed out that the improved performance of the machine is shown in the second demonstration after modifying the defects found out at the first demonstration, some revisions should be done as the machine needs to be lighter although it has an advantage of firmness. And the Union Minister indicated the requirements to be fulfilled to have good characteristics of a high-performance machine in the third demonstration.
