Commodity Affairs: Opening of Agricultural Produce Commodity Depot

Opening ceremony of the Agricultural Produce Commodity Depot was held at the Bago Myoma market on Tuesday with the attendance of Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win.
The Chief Minister and officials cut the ceremonial ribbon to open the Depot. And, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the agricultural products and prices displayed at the depot office.
Then, the Chief Minister gave instructions to the officials to carry out the progresses in accordance with the statements of the Market Information System (M.I.S) issued by the Department of Agriculture, to take comprehensive measures to strengthen farmer-based market information systems, to spread timely information about update prices and to undertake the special measures for the smooth flow of commodities in a timely and accurate manner.
Then, the Chief Minister and party proceeded to the Public Service Office (One Stop Shop) (OSS) and instructed the officials to pay special attention to four objectives such as providing services meeting the basic needs of the public, fostering effective services by prohibiting bribery and corruption, enhancing public trust to the government and departmental organizations and supporting the employees and departments for mutual controls.
And, they paid a visit to the regional products sale center opened in the Bago Myoma Market and instructed the officials to ensure that there is no shortage of local products, to sell products at fair prices and to expand local products sale.
