Commemorative Ceremony: Artistes Honoured In Drama, Song And Poem Competitions

A ceremony to present honorary prizes and certificates of honour to artists who performed in the 77th Armed Forces Day Commemorative drama "From the Northwest to the Clouds” and winners of Tatmadaw songs, poems and story was held at the Bayint Naung villa in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday morning.

The ceremony was attended by Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, senior military officers of the Commander-in-Chief (Office), Nay Pyi Taw Command Commander and officials.

First, Chairman of Armed Forces Day Organizing Committee, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye gave a speech. Later, the Chief of General Staff presented a certificate of honour to Lt-Gen Myo Zaw Thein who composed the military song entitled, "Good Solider”.

Chairman of the Psychological and Public Relations Committee, Ajudant General Lt-Gen Myo Zaw Thein, Chairman of Armed Forces Day Organizing Management Committee, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Zaw Hein and Chairman of the Manuscript  Competition Organizing Committee, Director of the Public Relations and Psychological Warfare Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun presented honorary prizes and certificates of honour to artistes who took part in the Armed Forces Day commemorative drama “From the Northwest to the Clouds” and the winners in the military song, marching song, poem and story competition .

After the ceremony, the Chief of General Staff hosted a tea party for the attendees and cordially greeted them.
