Combating Online Scam: Illegal buildings in KK Park demolished

The government has demolished 633 illegal buildings in the KK Park area that were used for online fraud and illegal gambling activities.

It is reported that two more five-storey illegal buildings were demolished on Thursday in KK Park Area (2). Previously, 148 buildings in Area (1) and 425 buildings in Area (3) had already been destroyed. Out of a total of 635 illegal structures, only two remain.

In addition, fully damaged buildings in Area (3) are being further destroyed using controlled methods to ensure complete demolition. So far, 116 buildings have been completely destroyed. The government is treating the fight against online scams and illegal gambling as a national responsibility and will continue operations in cooperation with domestic forces and neighboring countries to prevent such crimes from operating in Myanmar.
