As part of the annual Great Feast festivities, "Parachicos" masked dancers’ parade through the streets of Chiapas in southern Mexico as part of a communal offering to Saint Anthony Abbot on Wednesday.

The festivities, which include Roman Catholic religious ceremonies, music, dancing, and local cuisine, were included in UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists in 2010. The tradition finds its roots in a hybrid of both Spanish Catholic and local Indigenous cultures.
