Colombians pray for health of Presidential candidate Miguel Uribe

Family members and supporters of the Colombian Presidential candidate, Miguel Uribe, pray for his health at the Santa Fe Foundation Hospital.

The thirty-nine-year-old Senator was speaking to supporters in Bogota when a gunman shot him twice in the head and once in the knee before being detained. The city's mayor has announced that Uribe has successfully undergone initial surgery.

Christian Garces, Congressman of the Democratic Center party, from outside the hospital said "Centro Democratico party calls for them to pray for Miguel Uribe's life, to support his family, and express against all acts of violence."
