Colombian women farmers play in football tournament

Women farmers take center stage in a football tournament organized in the Colombian village of Jenesano, on Wednesday.

The team captain said "they represent their farmers, farming women, hard-working women in the countryside, who work every day for a better future for themselves and their children". The tournament is part of a wider festival known as the "Festival Boots, Ponchos, and Sombreros Sports and Cultural Festival.
