Colombian oceanographic ship embarks on 3-month mission to Antarctica

Colombian oceanographic ship departed from the port of Buenaventura on the Pacific coast after an inauguration ceremony also attended by President Gustavo Petro.

The scientific vessel sets sail on a three-month mission to "hostile" Antarctica to conduct research in various fields, including that related to "climate change" and its consequences on Colombia's coasts, according to Commander Jair Robledo.
