Colombia's armed forces commander said on Tuesday that the fight against drug trafficking will continue "with or without" US support, after Washington removes the country from its list of anti-narcotics allies.

Admiral Francisco Cubides emphasizes that President Donald Trump's decision does not imply any immediate cuts to US assistance for Colombia's security forces, adding that both nations "continue working very closely" to confront the cartels trafficking cocaine.
