Colombia reopens orchid exhibition after pandemic

After two years of recess due to the pandemic, the Botanical Garden resumed Friday one of Bogotá's emblematic events, the 19th National Orchid Exhibition. Around 1,500 orchid specimens distributed in 15 stands of different orchid growers associations representing ten cities and departments of the country are on display.

The Botanical Garden Director said, the garden is a space that allows them to educate the visitors about the importance of care and conservation of the ecosystems where these beautiful plants are found. Visitors of all ages enjoyed the natural environment and the educational talks given by experts during the exhibition.
