Colombia and Ecuador carry out anti-narcotics operations along their borders

Colombia launched Operation Mirror, a binational action through which the Armed Forces and Police of Colombia and Ecuador coordinate efforts against drug trafficking that affects both countries. The United States would also take part with an intelligence component to support air and maritime interdiction operations, as well as to locate camps belonging to criminal organizations.
